Police now trained in Naloxone

North Yorkshire Police have started to train officer's in the use of Naloxone, a life saving medication in the event of an opioid overdose.

Harrogate Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team are some of the first to carry this equipment and cover your area.

This is not to replace the need for an ambulance, but to give extra time for a patient prior to paramedic attending and can save a life.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.
