Just a update on the below case I sent out last week. One of the males in the below case was also charged at the same time with 2 additional shop thefts and a Going Equipped to Steal offence. I am pleased to say that individual has since been remanded in custody by the Courts. The 2nd male is on conditional bail. Both individuals will return to Court very soon and I will update you with the outcome.

The City Centre Neighbourhood Policing team have recently charged 2 males both with 2 X Shop Theft and 2 X Cycle theft from a incident mid February. All property and cycles were recovered on arrest on the day, undamaged and the shop items in re-saleable condition which is great result considering both shop thefts were £170 and £250 respectively and the Cycles were both of a considerable value and importance to victims.
