Uninsured drivers were at the centre of a national road safety campaign last week.

Did you know that every 20 minutes, someone is hit by an uninsured or hit-and-run driver in the UK? 

In North Yorkshire, our officers carried out extra patrols across the county around the clock. We worked directly with the Motor Insurance Bureau to maximise our potential with the operation.

The following vehicle was taken off the road as the driver didn’t hold a valid insurance policy.
