A really busy week last week for your City Centre Neighbourhood Policing team and a couple of results to share with you which impact the whole of York….

We arrested a male in the City Centre in possession of a Knife who was also wanted for 3 X Breach of a Domestic Violence Protection Order, we were also able to evidence a 4th breach and he was remanded in custody for Court the following day for all 4 breaches and received 6 weeks imprisonment at Court.

We arrested a prolific shop Thief on Thursday (16th Jan) for thefts all over York. He was charged and remanded with 6 X Shop Theft and a breach of Court bail conditions. At Court the following day he was remanded for in custody for 12 days until his next Court appearance - whilst that isn't a end result, it removes him as a problem for the time-being.
