Good Afternoon Resident.

Following a request on Facebook for officers to attend West Street to carry out speed checks, your local officer, PCSO Dan Andrews has been working with Police Volunteer Bob Fenwick this week. 

On Friday morning (yesterday) 50 vehicles were checked in 30 minutes. The highest speed recorded was 31mph, with the lowest being 18mph. 

Dan and Bob will continue to pop up in the area unannounced to conduct speed checks.
