North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information regarding a burglary that occurred at 0210 hours on the 18th of April 2025, at Brompton Caravan Park, Brompton-on-Swale.

A thin white male, wearing a grey mask over his head and a brown / tan top has gained access to a holiday lodge via an unlocked door, and taken a car key and money from a purse - before being disturbed by a resident in the lodge. 

The car key (fitted with an ‘air tag’) was able to be tracked crossing a small metal bridge at the rear of Brompton Lakes, and then found abandoned on a fence post in the immediate vicinity.
