12250110471 – theft Algarth Terrace Elvington YORK ,YO41 4AS

Police are investigating a report of theft from a garden on Algarth Terrace Elvington YORK on 18th June 2025. A male was seen in a white van with a castle on the front to enter a local residents garden and steal items from the garden. The male was approached by a neighbour and he stated he had permission to take the items. He showed ID at the time to the neighbour but it was later confirmed he did not have permission to take the items and a complaint of theft is being investigated.

CCTV is currently being reviewed in relation to this matter.
