StreetSafe

Good Morning Resident

Have you heard about StreetSafe?

Street Safe is a service which allows you to report safety concerns in public places, without providing your name (anonymously).

This can include issues such as poorly lit streets, abandoned buildings or vandalism, as well as instances where you feel unsafe due to someone following or verbally abusing you.

StreetSafe isn’t an alternative way to report crimes or emergencies.

An example of a situation to report to StreetSafe may be a poorly lit alleyway which makes you feel unsafe.

The data from StreetSafe will be made available to Police and Crime Commissioners and local policing teams to share with local authorities and other stakeholders as part of their community partnerships to have a better understanding of geographical profiles and inform their community safety activities.

If you want to make a report, please click on the link: https://www.northyorkshire.police.uk/notices/street-safe/street-safe/street-safe/?tid=566021&lid=&cid=&rid=5&stepid=1

Many Thanks,

Lorna,
