On Saturday 26th July at approx. 1455hrs a fraudulent incident occurred at Pinewood Drive, Camblesforth.

Police investigation is on going and we are appealing for CCTV/ ring doorbell or potential dashcam footage between the hours of 1430hrs and 1530hrs that may show the suspect.

House to house enquiries have been carried out in the area but we are now appealing to a wider audience and to those residents that were out.

The suspect is described as a white male, of slim build but with broad shoulders. He was wearing a white jumper, blue trousers, and his trainers were dark on the bottom, white on the top. He wore a black cap on backwards and had braces on his teeth.

Following the incident whereby the suspect left the address , he was followed by the victim’s boyfriend and broke into a run on to Wentworth Close where he got into a black car being driven by another male. No other details known. The car was parked at the mouth of the junction of Wentworth Close.
