Keeping valuables secure when visiting the Yorkshire Dales

Hello,

We have had a report of a handbag being taken from a vehicle while the occupant was away from the vehicle for a short time.  Please be vigilant when you are leaving your vehicle even if it is for a short time and take your valuables with you. 

If you must leave items, keep them out of sight (boot/under seats)

Make sure your vehicle is locked and windows are fully closed

Try to park in well-used, visible areas
