Celebrating those who make what we do possible 💙

This week is Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), a time where we come together to celebrate the amazing people who support us as Police Support Volunteers, Special Constables and Volunteer Police Cadets. 

They make a real difference across North Yorkshire. In 2025 alone, our volunteers gave over 31,600 hours of their time to support communities, colleagues and frontline policing.

This includes a whopping 7,589 hours from Police Support Volunteers and 24,074 hours from Special Constables. From community engagement to operational support, that contribution is felt every single day.

Thank you to every one of our volunteers. You make it possible.
