Youth Bicycle Marking - Whitby

Tomorrow at 12pm, Local PCSO Luke Aaron will be at EASTSIDE COMMUNITY HUB in Whitby using his specialist property marking skills to help you mark your property. Luke is one of a few officers trained to mark property using one of our specialist machines. 

The objective of the event is to get as many YOUTH bikes registered on the National Bicycle Database as possible to help tackle bike theft and also increase the numbers of bike recovery in the Whitby area. 

What does property marking involve? 

The Bicycles will be issued with an identifying marker which will then be input into the National Bicycle Database which is set up to help deter thieves from taking your property and also assist with getting your property back if it is to be taken. 

What can be property marked?

Luke will be available for specifically marking Youth bicycles during this event.

How much will it cost? 

NOTHING! THE EVENT IS FREE!
