Motorbike recovered on Middle Deepdale.

When we find a dumped motorbike in the street, we would normally ask for the owner to come forward to collect their vehicle.... but not on this occasion.

Following regular complaints from residents about off-road bikes, e-bikes and scooters, Eastfield's Neighbourhood Policing Team previously launched Operation Bungalow. 

The operation focuses on the associated anti-social behaviour from the users of the vehicles, noise complaints, criminal damage and the collisions or near misses.

Through engagements with the community, the concerns have been raised about the dangerous riding and speed with little regard for other road users and members of the public.

On Friday 24 July 26 officers tried to engage with the rider and their passenger of the motorbike. Unfortunately, both people didn't want to hang around to speak to officers, and ran away. 
The motorbike was recovered and may have a future appointment with the crusher.
