I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Following a pro-active search and locate a driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving having been encountered in the Fulford area of York. As a result of this arrest the driver has been bailed pending toxicology analysis. We wish to thank members of the public for providing information which allows us to target drivers causing a danger on the roads. If you know of anyone involved in drink/drug driving please feel free to contact a member of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) or call 101.
