🎆 Enjoy Bonfire Night Safely This Evening 🔥 As communities across North Yorkshire gather to enjoy fireworks and bonfires this evening, North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is encouraging everyone to celebrate safely and responsibly. ✅ The safest option is to attend an organised display, where trained professionals manage the fireworks and bonfire. These events are safer for families and often far more spectacular. If you're celebrating at home: 🔥 Bonfire Safety 🎇 Firework Safety 🚔 Help Prevent Anti-Social Behaviour Bonfire Night should be enjoyable for everyone. Please use fireworks responsibly and legally. Throwing fireworks, aiming them at people, vehicles, animals or property, or setting fires in public spaces is dangerous and can result in serious injury or criminal prosecution. Respect your neighbours, avoid excessive noise late at night, and report any dangerous or deliberate anti-social behaviour to the police via 101, or 999 in an emergency. 🐶 Be a Good Neighbour Fireworks may only last a few minutes, but their impact can be felt much further away. Consider your neighbours, livestock, pets and anyone who may find loud, unexpected noises distressing. If possible, let neighbours know about your display in advance. ✨ Have a fantastic Bonfire Night, enjoy the celebrations, and remember: the best fireworks are the ones that leave everyone with happy memories, not unwanted visits from the fire service! Stay safe. Stay sensible. Enjoy the show. 🎆🔥
